A MOTHER-OF-FOUR from Wilmslow has launched an exhibition to teach people all about the religion of Islam.
Shabnam Yusuf put the programme together for display at Holmes Chapel library to raise awareness of her faith across Cheshire.
The exhibition was on display in the library from Monday June 15 and Monday June 22.
Shabnam, originally from Malawi, said: “I hold this Islamic Exhibition once a year in different libraries in the Cheshire East Area to raise awareness about this monotheistic faith.
“I also want to build bridges in the community so we can live in peace and harmony, which can only be achieved when we understand each other’s culture and way of life.
The information exposition included subjects like women in Islam, Muslim families and Muslim social life.
