FIREFIGHTERS tackled a small unattended blaze in Wilmslow yesterday.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue were called out to the Styal Road incident, 100 metres from the entrance of Quarry Bank Mill, at 3.25pm.
One fire engine attended the scene, and officers tackled the blaze with a hose reel jet.
The fire was believed to have been caused by a controlled burning which was left unattended.
