STAFF at Wilmslow legal firm Roberts Jackson are delighted after the company was shortlisted for two awards – taking their total nominations for 2016 to an incredible 11.

The solicitors, who specialise in industrial disease and work related conditions, have been named a finalist for Specialist Law Firm of the year at the prestigious British Legal Awards.

Recognised as one of the biggest ceremonies in the legal sector, the award’s judging process is led by Alasdair Douglas, chairman of the London Law Society, and is attended by 1,000 of the country’s most respected legal experts.

The firm has also been shortlisted for the North East Cheshire Business Awards, which will take place at The Mere, in Knutsford, on Thursday, November 17.

Karen Jackson, CEO at Roberts Jackson, said: “We're thrilled to receive such recognition from the leading authorities in the law.

“It's amazing to think we started out as a team of four people in a small office in Wilmslow just seven years ago, and we're almost 200 and growing.

“I think the firm’s success is down to the commitment of its staff. Our motivation is very simple – to access justice for our clients who have become ill because of their work.”

Roberts Jackson will find out if they are successful in the British Legal Awards in a ceremony at Finsbury Square, in London, on Thursday, November 24.
