A STYAL pub is preparing to ‘go green for Hallowe’en’ with a series of spooky activities this half-term in aid of the NSPCC.

Vintage Inns-owned pub The Honey Bee, in Altrincham Road, will host a range of games and activities from Saturday, October 22 to Monday, October 31.

Staff will don ghoulish green costumes, while youngsters can enjoy ghostly story-telling, face painting and games in return for a small donation to the NSPCC.

Nigel Spencer, director of fundraising at the NSPCC, said: “We really value the support we receive from Vintage Inns and the contribution they are making to our fight for every childhood.

“This Hallowe’en we encourage you to get down to The Honey Bee with family and friends for some ghostly green fun while at the same time raising money to help us keep children safe.”

The pub will also donate 25p from every meal ordered from its specials board to the NSPCC throughout October and November.

Juliet Oosthuysen, from Vintage Inns, said: “The NSPCC is a charity which is very close to the hearts of both us and our guests.

“We hope that people will get into the spirit and join us over half-term for some spooky fun.”
