A SIXTH form student at Wilmslow High School was left with multiple injuries following an assault on the school’s grounds.

The victim, a 17-year-old male, was attacked in the sixth form car park at approximately 3pm on Tuesday, November 29.

Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses to help trace three males who are believed to be responsible for the assault.

Police were called to the slip road from A34 which leads to the school at 3.15pm following reports of a disturbance involving three males assaulting another male.

A police spokesman said: “Officers are following a number of lines of enquiry to find those responsible and are appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw the incident or who knows the identity of the offenders to contact police.”

A witness, who wishes to remain anonymous, told the Guardian that the victim was assaulted by three men who were “hooded and masked, carrying metal hammers and bats”.

A Cheshire Police spokesman has confirmed to the Guardian that the force is searching for three men, who were seen wearing grey joggers and dark tops, and were carrying weapons.
