Car's brakes catch fire on the A538 in Wilmslow
A CAR'S front brakes caught fire on the A538 in Wilmslow yesterday evening.
One fire engine from Poynton was called out to tackle the blaze at 5.51pm on Monday, March 27.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to cool the brakes down and a thermal imaging camera to make sure the affected area was fully cooled.
