ONE of Alderley Edge’s best-loved bars is now keeping the party going through the night.

Upstairs at The Botanist, in London Road, has been completely revamped – and named The Rose Rooms.

The bar now has the latest license in the village on Friday and Saturday nights, and it hopes to keep customers in Alderley Edge throughout the night.

Following a star-studded launch last month, Jordan Brooks, sales and events manager at The Botanist, believes the Rose Rooms is going from ‘strength to strength’.

“The feedback so far has been really positive,” he told the Guardian.

“People have had to travel out of Alderley Edge when they want to carry on their night out, into Wilmslow or Macclesfield.

“We want to give them the opportunity to start and finish their night in the village, and bring more people in to Alderley Edge. I think it works well for the whole village.”

Taking centre stage in the Rose Rooms are captivating 10ft rose trees, while roses line the bar’s ceiling to give it a unique style.

The Botanist’s extensive cocktail menu has also been given a boost, with the Rose Room Sangria being made exclusive to the revamped venue.

“We are offering something very different in Alderley Edge with the extended license to 2am, and DJs playing a mix of music to suit the different guests who come in,” Jordan added.

“The lounge area is a nice place to relax, and we have a bar with a dancefloor for people who want to dance.

“We’re getting more people coming into the Rose Rooms from other bars at 11pm and staying for the rest of the night.”

The Rose Rooms will soon extend its offering to events on Thursdays and Sunday evenings, while the 150-capacity space is also available for private hire.
