LOVERS of fine food and drink are invited for another feast in the town next week.

Wilmslow is gearing up to host its third annual Food and Drink Week from Monday, April 24, to Saturday, April 29, celebrating the town’s top dining destinations.

Restaurants, pubs, hotels and cafés are all participating in this year’s event, including the newly-refurbished Stanneylands, which relaunched this week.

The event has been organised by the Wilmslow Business Group, which has put together a programme of events and offers to encourage residents and visitors to discover all that Wilmslow has to offer.

Catherine Mackenzie, chairman of Wilmslow Business Group, said: “Following on from previous years’ successes Wilmslow will be hosting its third Food and Drink Week.

“This event always creates a buzz in the town and brings the community together.

“Make sure to buy your tickets quick as they’re limited – and have a delicious week.”

This year’s events include a pop-up dining experience at Tru Kitchen, a pizza-making party at Pizza Express, a cake competition to be judged at Bridgmans, a ladies’ fashion lunch at the newly-refurbished Sarafina, and a wine tasting evening at Majestic wine.

Copies of the Food and Drink Week programme can be found at Wilmslow Library, Wilmslow Leisure Centre, and in several food and drink outlets across the town.
