FAMILIES and animal lovers are invited to the Wilmslow Animal Sanctuary’s annual family fun day.
The event returns to the sanctuary, in Newgate, from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, June 18, with a host of activities including a bouncy castle, face painting, tombolas and tours of the sanctuary.
Wilmslow Football Academy will also be in attendance with games and activities, while a host of cakes, tea and coffee will be on offer.
Nicola Foster, from the sanctuary, said: “It is a very popular day out for all the family, especially our younger supporters who have the opportunity to meet all our residents and understand what is involved in looking after a pet.
“The Sanctuary simply would not be able to operate without the generous support of our friends and followers and the local community so please come along and enjoy a great day.”
Last year’s event raised more than £2,000, and the sanctuary is hoping to raise even more this weekend.
