FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a house in Carrwood Road yesterday, June 17.
One fire engine from Wilmslow and another from Cheadle attended the incident at 9.56am.
On arrival, crews found the fire on the ground floor of the detached propery, where no one was inside.
A spokesman at Cheshire Fire and Rescue said: "The crews used one hose reel to extinguish the flames and a large fan to remove some from the property.
"There was no one in the property at the time and smoke alarms were fitted and neighbours apparently raised the alarm."
