STAFF at Didsbury Engineering Company were evacuated as firefighters tackled a blaze at the site this morning, June 23.
One fire engine from Wilmslow attended the incident at 10.58am in Lower Meadow Road, Handforth, where a light fitting 50ft in the air had caught fire.
Firefighters used a high pressure hose reel to put out the fire.
All people on site were accounted for.
