MOTTRAM Hall staff have gone the extra mile to help charity.

The hotel is celebrating a successful first year in partnership with the NSPCC, helping to raise £82,000 for the charity as part of the QHotels group, exceeding its target of £75,000.

The three-year partnership, which launched in June 2016, aims to bring guests and employees together across the hotel group to raise funds for the children’s charity.

Mottram Hall employees have taken part in a number of challenges throughout the year, including the Great Manchester Run.

QHotels’ 20,000 leisure club members and leisure club employees have also got behind the cause, collectively pedalling 2,699 kilometres – the distance from QHotels’ southernmost hotel, the Ashford International in Kent, to The Westerwood Hotel in Scotland, and back again.

Now entering its second year, Mottram Hall is reconfirming its commitment to the cause, with the launch of a new charitable incentive for corporate bookers.

The new package will enable organisations arranging an event at Mottram Hall to donate the five per cent cashback they can receive in high street vouchers to the NSPCC. QHotels customers will also continue to have the option to make a £1 donation to the NSPCC with every online booking.

Deirdre Billing, general manager at Mottram Hall said: “It’s been a real privilege to support the NSPCC over the past year, and we’ve been blown away by the efforts and commitment that has gone into the impressive fundraising schedule, resulting in us surpassing our ambitious fundraising target by almost £10,000.

“Going into our second year of partnership, we’re determined to keep breaking targets to raise money for this incredibly important cause with a range of creative activities and events for our guests.”
