The police helicopter was used in the search
POLICE found a woman in the centre of Wilmslow last night five hours after she went missing.
Sgt John O’Driscoll said: “Concerns were raised for a 42-year-old woman who went missing at 5pm on Monday. With the help of patrols the woman was located in Bank Square at about 10pm.”
Sgt O’Driscoll said the police helicopter was used to search wooded areas and land in the area.
“The helicopter gives us the ability to search open land a lot quicker than officers could do on foot,” he added.
