DETECTIVES from Macclesfield CID are appealing for information from the public following a robbery last night in Wilmslow.
"At 8pm a man armed with a knife entered the Subway store on Dean Row," said a police spokesman.
"Once inside the store the man threatened staff with the knife and demanded they handed over the cash from the till.
"The suspect then fled the store, taking with him a quantity of cash."
The man police are seeking is described as white, in his late teens to early twenties and about 5ft 9inches to 6ft tall.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the local area and believes they may have seen anything suspicious.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 812 of 12/9/2017.
