CAT lovers are being asked to consider offering Jessica a ‘special forever home’.

The eight-year-old tabby/tortoisehell cat is a long-term resident at Wilmslow Animal Sanctuary.

She was rehomed from the sanctuary last year, but had to return because the move didn’t work out.

“Jessica is easy to handle and loves her cuddles, she enjoys a lengthy sit on your lap and would be an excellent companion for someone to befriend,” said sanctuary manager Sarah Diggle.

“When Jessica becomes stressed - usually around other cats she occasionally suffers from cystitis.

“This can perhaps happen only a couple of times a year and maybe not even happen at all in a quiet home.

“When this flares up she requires a couple of days of Metacam to relieve these symptoms to settle down again so would appreciate a reasonably quiet home with older children where she is the only pet in the household.

“Having had very little interest from potential adopters, we would love to find Jessica a loving forever home where she can relax and settle with an understanding owner.”

If you would like further information regarding Jessica’s needs or would like to offer her a home please visit the sanctuary or call 01625 520 802. It is open from 11am to 4pm every day except Thursdays.
