SPECIALIST planning and environmental consultancy HOW has submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment application in respect of housing development at Wilmslow.
The application to Cheshire East Council involves an EIA Scoping Opinion for a residential development on land to the east of Alderley Road.
Scoping involves determining the extent of issues to be considered in the EIA and reported in the Environmental Statement.
The applicant can ask the local planning authority for its opinion on what information needs to be included - which is called a ‘scoping opinion’.
