MANCHESTER Airport is offering Christmas revellers the chance to celebrate the festive season under the wings of one of the world’s most iconic aircraft.
The airport’s Runway Visitor Park - home to Concorde - will act as a Christmas party venue for up to 750 guests, with the chance to enjoy on-board access and short tours of the retired supersonic passenger jet.
A spokesman said: “The room can be set out in a number of ways to wow guests, including red carpet, starlit backboards and a chequered dancefloor. There’s also an area under the nose of the Concorde for a sparkling drinks reception.
“Along with a three-course meal, drinks reception and venue hire, guests can enjoy access on-board Concorde, with up to two hours of consecutive short tours led by an experienced guide included.
“A stage, DJ and a variety of atmospheric lighting packages are also available.”
