HUNDREDS of people paid their respects to the fallen on Sunday as Wilmslow remembered those who gave their lives for their country.
The annual Remembrance Day parade marched from the Royal British Legion in Grove Avenue to St Bartholomew’s Church, where the service was conducted by the Reverend Sandi Fisher.
Rev Fisher is chaplain of the Wilmslow branch of the Royal British Legion.
Following the service wreaths were laid at the Remembrance Gardens.
Among those laying wreaths was Jim McDermott, the president of the Wilmslow branch of the Royal British Legion.
Wreaths were also laid by Cllr Martin Watkins, chairman of Wilmslow Town Council, Kathy Cowell, deputy Lieutenant of Cheshire, Tatton MP Esther McVey, Yasmeen Desnavi from Cheadle Mosque, British Red Cross, Lions International, Rotary International, Scouts, and Air and Army Cadets.
