COMPETITION winners Mya Taube and Max Bailey are to help switch on Alderley Edge's Christmas lights this evening.
Mya, aged nine, is a pupil at Alderley Edge School for Girls, and Max, is in year six at Alderley Edge Community Primary School.
They designed posters to publicise the switch-on event in the village, which takes place between 7.30pm and 7.45pm, as part of celebrations which run from 6pm to 8.45pm.
A stage near Alderley Bar and Grill will host performances from choirs from Alderley Edge Community Primary School and The Ryleys School, the Bennett family, Luis Sullivan and Drew Selby, SMB Dance and the Siren and Sound choir.
Compere for the evening will be John Wallace, and London Road will be closed from 5pm.
