CHILDREN in Reception and Years 1 and 2 at Gorsey Bank Primary School wowed their audience with their performance of Baubles.
"With quirky characters, including directionally-challenged kings, a moody donkey and a sheep that sleeps through an angelic visitation, this was a tinsel-tastic nativity like never before," said headteacher Lisa Woolley.
"Mr and Mrs Potts, the caretakers, set to work to create some beautiful baubles for the bare, forgotten Christmas tree to help the children of a school ‘not so different to ours’ rediscover the true meaning of Christmas.
"Gorsey Bank pupils sang and danced their hearts out and made everyone watching laugh, cry and smile as the nativity story unravelled one bauble at a time!"
