A WOMAN who admitted stealing shoes valued at more than £800 has been given a community order.
Gail Marie Flanagan, 51, of Chippenham Road, Ancoats, Manchester, was given an order by Stockport Magistrates Court, totalling 25 days, for two thefts in May last year.
On May 12, Flanagan took shoes valued at £373 from Next at Handforth Dean and five days later she was back again to steal shoes valued at £437 from the same store.
She was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £85 and disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months under section 146 Powers of Criminal Courts(Sentencing) Act 2000.
