The arrest followed a collision
POLICE arrested a driver yesterday on suspicion of drink driving after attending a road traffic collision on London Road, Alderley Edge.
A police spokesman said the collision involved two cars at the railway bridge at 5.50pm.
There were no injuries, and the driver arrested has been charged, and is to appear in court.
