SINGERS and bands are being sought to perform at a summer festival which is raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The appeal comes from Caroline Terrington, the manager at The Plough and Flail at Mobberley.

Caroline is staging MOBB FEST with her friend Samantha Winstanley, whose mother Sally died from dementia.

MOBB FEST takes place on Saturday, July 21, from midday, and 100 per cent of the ticket sales will go to the charity.

“MOBB FEST will be a day of friends, family and frolics, live singers, local bands, comics, magic, fairground games and a bouncy castle,” said Caroline.

“There will be independent craft stalls, outdoor bars, a barbecue and a charity raffle.

“Our chosen charity is the Alzheimer’s Society, and we are doing it in memory of Sally, who sadly past two years ago from dementia.

“Sally loved festivals, family and the outdoors, so what better way to celebrate her life than MOBB FEST 2018?

“We hope to see you all this summer on the grass and hay bales.”

Limited tickets are available via eventbright.co.uk - search MOBB FEST.

Tickets are £10, with children three and under going free.

If you are a singer or in a band and would like to perform on the day please contact Caroline at mobbfest@mail.co.uk or call 01565 873537.

The festival is being sponsored by Kuno Invest.
