TWO men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man at Manchester Airport this morning, Friday.
A 57-year-old taxi driver died in hospital following an incident in the car park outside Terminal 2, shortly before 8.30am.
Enquiries remain ongoing at the scene, and a post mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow.
Two men, aged 55 and 26, have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and remain in custody for questioning.
Det Ch Insp Carl Jones, of GMP’s major incident team, said: “We have specially trained officers supporting the man’s family at what is understandably an incredibly difficult time and our thoughts remain with them.
“We have two men in custody but our investigation is still in its very early stages.
"Several witnesses are currently helping us with our enquiries.”
