A PROPERTY development and consultancy firm is set to launch a new, 4.5-acre, luxury lateral living development in Alderley Edge.

Regency Residential, who are part of the MCR Proper Group, have revealed plans for Harden Park, which comprises eight detached and four semi-detached lavish, single-storey homes, surrounded by spacious grounds, woodlands and a lake.

The secluded development will be accessible via a private road and situated a five-minute walk from the centre of Alderley Edge. The buildings will vary subtly in size and form, while interacting with the surrounding landscape.

Chris Taylor, managing director at Regency Residential, said: “We are extremely proud of the design and construction quality of the ecologically-friendly homes at Harden Park. Our expert planning team scrutinised every detail to ensure the creation of a pioneering and beautiful development, while guaranteeing minimal visual impact on the North Cheshire green belt landscape.

“Alderley Edge is one of the most desirable locations in the north west, and this special collection of distinguished homes further demonstrate the wealth and diversity in this sought-after area. We expect demand for the properties to be high.”

The properties, which will include bespoke kitchens, contemporary bathrooms and smart technology to control everything from lighting to sound, are set to be completed in autumn this year, with a show home available to view from June.

Abel Hinchliffe, associate director at CODA Studios, the architects who finalised the designs, said: “We’ve been commissioned to deliver an outstanding collection of 12 lateral, open-plan homes that truly enhance the surrounding landscape.

“The location demands high quality, so we worked closely with Regency Residential to develop this contemporary scheme which firmly grabs your attention.”

Prices for Harden Park start at £350,000 and go up to £1,200,000.
