PUPILS at Wilmslow Prep School have unveiled their revamped outdoor playground.
Tatton MP Esther McVey joined pupils, staff and governors for a ribbon-cutting celebration of their new playground.
The refurbished and enhanced playground features new surfacing, permanent netball and football goals as well as fixed nets for badminton and tennis - all of which will benefit pupils at the school.
An improved drainage system was also installed with the upgrade.
Helen Rigby, headteacher said: “We are delighted to have officially launched our new outdoor playground, which features bright, robust sports equipment, and is another positive step in our ongoing development plans.
“We are grateful to Esther McVey in supporting the launch, taking the time out of her busy schedule to pay us a visit and cut the ribbon at our opening ceremony.”
Ms McVey said: “It was a pleasure to attend Wilmslow Prep’s official playground launch. The new equipment looked great in the outdoor space, and I am quite sure the children will enjoy using it for many years to come.”
