THE Friends of the Carrs has thanked everyone for their support for the annual family fun dog show.
The event was supported by The National Trust, The Vets’ Place and Barkers/Pets at Home.
This was the sixth year of the popular event, glorious sunshine made up for previous deluges and the show attracted more than 100 entries of dogs large and small.
This year a redesigned agility course allowed owners to test their dog's abilities against the clock, and hot and cold snacks and home- made cakes were a huge hit.
The funds raised on the day will allow the Friends group to carry out further wildflower planting and other improvements works in the park.
A group spokesman said: “We would like to thank everyone who supported the event and joined us on the day to make this such a success. It is very rewarding to see so many enjoying the park we all love and treasure.
“The funds raised will enable us to make even more improvements in the coming months.
“Join us for our further events this year as listed on the Friends of the Carrs website - friendsofthecarrs.org.uk and our Facebook page Friends of The Carrs in Wilmslow."
