STAR students Michael Teague and Jessica Leadbeater have been enjoying a champagne send-off.

Michael has worked in the catering department at Sunrise of Mobberley for nearly a year while working towards his A-Level exams at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys.

Jessica has worked at the home for two years in the restaurant in between studying at The Heath High School in Runcorn.

Sunrise of Mobberley presented them with bottles of champagne to say well done for achieving A* and A grades in their A-Level exams this year.

Jessica will now be moving on to Liverpool John Moores University to study business law.

She will continue to work at Sunrise in her university holidays, and Michael will be heading off to Devon to study finance at the University of Exeter.

The rest of the team at Sunrise of Mobberley came together to present Michael and Jessica with champagne to celebrate and give them a good send-off.

Dawn Williams, director of community relations, said: “Everyone at Sunrise of Mobberley is so proud of Michael and Jessica, who have been hard-working and greatly-appreciated members of the team.

“We’re always keen to hear from people who share our commitment to quality and professionalism.

“Michael and Jessica’s work encompasses this and more, and it has been an honour to celebrate their results with them. Well done to them both – we wish them all the best at university and beyond.
