CREATIVE students have brightened up Knutsford train station with their own unique twist.
Their artwork features seven stunning posters promoting the town’s famous attractions and heritage.
Art and design students from Knutsford Academy were challenged to come up with their own ideas.

Community rail officer Steve Forde said: “The previous artwork, although fantastic, had become a little tired, so we contacted Knutsford Multi Academy Trust to see if students were willing to create new images.
“The finished result, a series of seven posters, is stunning.
“The Community Rail Partnership exists to bring the community together and these posters contribute to that.
“Even if you are not getting the train, I would encourage people to pop into the station to admire these posters.”
The artwork is displayed on the Manchester bound platform.
Gareth Barker, graphics, art, design, photography and media teacher, at Knutsford Academy, said: “The students were extremely focused when creating these posters.
“They drew their inspiration from their historic surroundings but used modern techniques, from Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop as well as hand drawing, to create the desired effect.
“I am extremely proud of their hard work and dedication.”
The posters depict Gaskell Tower, Tatton Park’s Japanese Gardens and Knutsford Royal May Day’s crown amongst other well-known attractions.
