Every week, the Knutsford Guardian publishes death notices and funeral announcements from the families of loved ones who have died.

As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Lorna Taylor (née Ross)

The 94-year-old, formerly of Glebelands Road, Knutsford, died peacefully on August 9 in Cranford Grange Care Home, Mobberley.

Lorna was the loving wife of the late Derek Taylor, and a dearly loved mum, grandma and great-grandma.

A funeral service hase taken place at Vale Royal Crematorium.

Charles Alan Mountain

The 48-year-old, of Knutsford and formerly Morley, near Leeds, died peacefully surrounded by family on August 14 after a short illness.

Charles was the much-loved husband of Emma, inspiring and wonderful father of Ella and Isaac, also beloved son of Alan and Dorothy, brother of Helen and son-in-law of Angie and Carl.

Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate Charles' life at Knutsford Methodist Church on Friday, September 1, at 2pm following a private committal.

Betty Patricia Marlow

The 91-year-old, of Knutsford, died peacefully in Acorn Hollow Nursing Home on Friday, August 4.

Betty was the beloved wife of the late Stan, loving mum and mother-in-law of Stephen and Jane and adored nan of Steph.

The funeral took place on Wednesday, August 16, at Vale Royal Crematorium.

Joyce Bee (née Messham)

The 95-year-old died peacefully at Sharston House on Sunday, August 13, after a long, happy and fulfilling life, spent exclusively in her beloved Knutsford.

Joyce was the devoted wife of the late Neville, much-loved mother of Robert and the late Philip and a loving nana to both of her grandsons, Thomas and Anthony and a much-loved mother-in-law to Annette.

She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service at Birches Crematorium & Remembrance Park on Monday, September 4, at 1pm. Family flowers only please.
