TWO friends with more than 30 years of experience in property management have set up a new lettings company.

Dawn Smith, a born and bred Knutsfordian, has teamed up with Mobberley resident Elayne Bagnall to set up King Lettings.

Both of them have worked for Meller Braggins and have more than 30 years of experience in the world of property management.

"It's very demanding (setting the business up) and we have a couple of properties that we have let," Dawn said.

"We've got some flyers and just finishing the website but it is about making ourselves visible.

"We are concentrating on Knutsford and Wilmslow and the villages around as well but we will be covering Cheshire as a whole.

"I do think there has been an increase in rental and we will have to get people in on half price deals to get things ticking over.

"In the short term we will be working from home and will see how it goes.

"Being a small independent business our aim is to provide a professional, personal service individual to our clients."
