MEMBERS of Cranford Quilters continued making quilts for the Linus charity, an organisation which provides quilts and knitted blankets to give comfort to children who are seriously ill or who have been traumatised in some other way.
Usually distributed through hospitals, they are each given to an individual child and then belong to that child.
They are continuing with this project during throughout the summer.
Visitors were also offered the chance to see a very wide variety of small quilts on the theme All in a Day’s Work, made by members of the Quilters’ Guild.
Meetings are held at St Vincent’s Roman Catholic Church, Tatton Street, Knutsford, at 7.30pm.
Visitors are always welcome.
Further information about the group can be obtained from Karen on 01625 532713.
