STYAL are on the bottom of the Cheshire Football League Premier Division table after two defeats in five days.

They fell 3-1 at second-placed Rylands in Warrington on Saturday after losing by the same scoreline at home to Eagle Sports last Tuesday.

It was Stuart Maylett who bagged Styal's goal against Rylands, while Tom Pryce came off the bench to hit the mark in the second half in midweek.

Styal, who visit third-from-bottom Crewe FC on Saturday, kick off 3pm, have registered one win and one draw from eight games so far under new management pair Kevin Kinsella and Nick Murray, who were bosses of the reserve team last season.

The second string are also finding the going tough at the moment.

Styal Reserves, who occupy the basement position in Cheshire Reserve League One with three losses from two outings, went down 3-2 at home to Poynton Reserves.

The second string play host to Knutsford A at Altrincham Road on Saturday in the Reserve Division Challenge Cup, kick off 3pm.
