STYAL FC joint manager Kevin Kinsella expects his side's results to improve sooner rather than later.

They are currently bottom of Cheshire Football League's Premier Division and head to another lowly outfit in Crewe FC on Saturday on the back of a 3-1 loss at form side Rylands at the weekend.

Kinsella said: "We were very unlucky on Saturday, seems to be the story at the minute.

"But we're moving in the right direction as it was the best football to date played by the team and we definitely did not deserve the loss. Wins will come soon."

Severaal players caught his eye.

"New signing Matt Holman from Aberdeen had a quality game as well as there being stand-out performances by Harry Maylett and Dom Kinsella this week, but overall it was a great team performance."

Styal have registered one win and one draw from eight games so far under Kinsella and his mangement partner Nick Murray, who have stepped up from reserve team duty last season.
