Lindow Primary School progress to Cheshire and Warrington School Games as MSSP representatives
LINDOW Primary School hockey team will represent Macclesfield School Sport Partnership in the Cheshire and Warrington School Games at Alderley Edge Hockey Club on Tuesday, March 8, after winning a qualifying quick-stick competition involving 16 teams from across Poynton, Macclesfield and Wilmslow.
They fended off competition from second-place Whirley Primary School (Macclesfield), who also qualify, and third-place St Anne’s Fulshaw (Wilmslow).
Fourteen students from Wilmslow High School took on the roles of ‘games makers’, umpiring the matches, organising the teams and managing the results
