Lindow bowled out for 80 runs
THE battle of the Cheshire County Cricket League Division Two promoted clubs did not go Lindow’s way in Chester.
The Upcast Lane side were bowled out for a miserly 80 by last season’s Cheshire League top flight champions Barrow.
Skipper Ben Tyler was the top scorer with 16, while Richard Robinson (11) and Adam Bull (13) were the only other batsmen to reach double figures.
It took Barrow less than 22 overs to overhaul Lindow’s score for the loss of only one wicket, which was taken by Alex Bosshardt.
