A PAINFUL debut Olympic Games continues for Seren Bundy-Davies, having been left out of the Team GB 4x400m relay team for this morning's heats.

The former Wilmslow High School 21-year-old, who ran the anchor for the medal-winning team in last year's World Championships and last month's European Championships, was absent from the quartet that qualified for tomorrow morning's final.

Last Saturday Bundy-Davies finished last in her 400m heat with her slowest time in competition for two years.

This morning's anchor leg was run by Christine Ohuruogu (51.34) as Team GB finished second to Jamaica in heat two, with Emily Diamond (51.71), Anyika Onuora (50.33) and Kelly Massey (51.43) also featuring.

The final will be the penultimate event in the Olympic Stadium at 2am UK time on Sunday.
