Bowler takes nine wickets on opening day of season
PERFORMANCE of the day in Cheshire County Cricket League Division Two was the superb 9 for 21 from Mobberley’s Abdul Aqeel, which greeted Cheadle Hulme on their drop down.
Hulme were bowled out for 108, with Jan Stydom, 52, as Aqeel returned figures of 12.3-5-21-9.
Mark Goodstadt hit an unbeaten 42 in Mobberley’s response of 112-4.
