CHAMPIONS Alderley Edge got off to a good start with an eight-wicket home win over promoted Grappenhall in the ECB Pemier League.
Aussie bowler Hamish Winter-Irving took 6 for 40 on debut in Grappers’ all out 177, in which Peter Barnes scored 42.
Calum Rowe top scored with 85 in a response of 178 for 2.
