WILMSLOW High School's under 15s and under 14s teams bowed out of the Cheshire Cup to Stockport Grammar School in the first round.
The under 15s kept Stockport’s run rate low at 101 in 20 overs but were bowled out for 45.
After posting a score of 57 for 9 off their 20 overs, Stockport chased down the under 14s side’s low total reasonably quickly.
The school's under 12s team, though, won a friendly at Audenshaw Grammar School by nine wickets.
Audenshaw posted 38 for 7 off their 15 overs, with Tom Long, Rowan Pearsand-Carter and Toby Hull the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, Wilmslow made light work of the run chase, reaching the total in seven overs with the loss of just one wicket.
Charlie Hodge was 15 not out, Max Davidson 8 not out.
