WILMSLOW got back to winning ways on Saturday as they comfortably dispatched Winnington Park at the Rectory Field.
With West Indies icon Shiv Chanderpaul watching on, the hosts needed just 23 overs to reach their victory target of 143 and win by seven wickets.
After winning the toss and electing to field, Wilmslow’s opening bowlers Jags Narayanan and Jake Woodhouse prevented the visitors from making serious progress.
Narayanan and Elliot Rowe took three wickets each, while Woodhouse finished with two as Park were dismissed for 142.
Narayanan then opened the batting alongside Rob Herriot and the pair smashed 23 from the first over to set the tone.
Rowe (43 not out) and Adam Dixon continued the onslaught as Wilmslow reached their target easily.
