ROB Salter shook up his rivals with victory in a yellow-tee stableford played by Styal Golf Club’s seniors.
His 41 points put him clear of Laurence Hodge, 39, and Steve Walker, 38.
A Wednesday stableford at Styal was won by Cheshire junior star Ryan Owen with 40 points, who was ahead of Ken Hall, 39, and Alan Townsend, 37.
The Styal Friday frolic was won by Susannah Middleton with 18 points, three more than Stuart Lumsden and Adam Dixon.
Lynn Guy was on fire in a Styal ladies stableford, posting 42 points to romp home from Claire Whitney, 36, and Pat Chadwick, 35.
Wilmslow’s men played a betterball medal for the Stanley Hildrup Trophy and it was won by B Kerr and M Starr with 67.0 from P Robinson and Reg Maddock, 69.5, and C Neill and B Coutts, 70.5.
