STYAL FC have made a strong start to the new Cheshire Football League campaign.

Three wins and a draw place them second in League One going into the trip to bottom team Cheadle Town Reserves tomorrow night, Wednesday.

The Altrincham Road outfit, who head to Middlewich Town on Saturday, smashed Garswood United 5-2 at home at the weekend.

Aarron Kelly hit the target twice, with Lee Allen, Ryan Barry and Troy Hayden also notching.

Subs Elliot Newsholme and Conor Glass netted in the home draw with AFC Macclesfield last Tuesday, while the latter also found the mark to go with Kyle Woodward’s double strike as Styal came from behind to win 3-2 at West Didsbury and Chorlton Reserves in the season opener.

Hayden and Aiden Lovett scored in the other victory achieved so far, a 2-0 home success against FC St Helens.

Styal are bidding for an instant return to the top flight following last season's relegation.
