Evans-Jones impresses in Nowicki Trophy
WILMSLOW Golf Club's men were busy in a par competition for the Nowicki Trophy.
Stephen Evans-Jones was an impressive winner with +5 from Nigel Stewart and David Foreman, Fergus Wilson and Gary Brebner all +2.
Wilmslow’s women were in stableford mode and in Division One Maureen Thompson was first past the post with 37 points from Janet Smith, 36, and Elizabeth Black and Maureen Nicholson, both 34.
In Division Two Ewa Papis posted 36 points to finish clear of Bridget Madden, 33, and Moira Campbell, 31.
