PAUL Withington led in a Wednesday stableford for Styal Golf Club's men.
Forty points saw him home from Harry Craven, 39, and Steve James and Tom Bloor, both 38.
Ben Tucker was untouchable in the John Harrison Medal at Styal, posting a scorching 61 to finish ahead of James Brown, 65, and Jack Bridgeman, 66.
Lynn Guy led in a Styal women's medal, with 74 giving her the edge from Helen Billington, 75, and Olivia Brewster, 76.
Styal seniors were in white tee medal action and it needed a card play-off on 67 to take Steve Weaver into top spot from Don Campbell and Terry Hooper.
