WILMSLOW Hockey Club's women took an early lead in their 3-1 win against Urmston courtesy of a penalty corner well taken by Emilie Kelman.
Following a pacey drive by Hannah Coulson, Becca Healey stretched to deflect the ball into the net for Wilmslow’s second.
In the second half energetic Hannah Coulson capped an excellent match with the third goal from a well struck shot.
Pete Hallinan bagged a hat-trick in the men's 6-2 win at Neston.
A high intensity was set by young guns Tom Davenport, Cam Armstrong and Hallinan, who gave Wilmslow a first-half 2-1 lead.
Matt Westbrook powered home a trademark drag flick for 3-1 and Andy Hunt drove home the fourth.
Neston pulled a goal back but Hallinan deflected home a long ball from Matt Westbrook before Hunt wrapped up the scoring with a ferocious shot.
