WILMSLOW High School are celebrating winning titles in the National Trampolining Finals.

The under 19s intermediate girls’ team of Molly Andrew, Gracie Davies, Shauna Greaves and Georgia Long incredibly finished first for the third year running.

Wilmslow's other champion from the finals held at Ards Leisure Centre in Belfast is Katie Phythian, who came out on top in the under 19s novice category.

There were some close calls for four other Wilmslow teams and two further individuals, who all qualified following some outstanding performances in the North West and Northern rounds of the competition.

Director of sport Huw Williams said: "It was yet another fantastic set of results at the highest level.

"Our congratulations go not just to the students, but to Hilary Pemberton and her team of coaches who continue to produce top-class bouncers year in year out.

"She was immensely proud of the way in which the students represented the school, the composure shown and the quality of performances that they were able to deliver in the cauldron like atmosphere of the national finals."

The under 19s intermediate boys’ team of Ben Dickinson, Finlay Greenwood, Dominic Rowe and Oliver Weir along with the under 15s novice boys’ team of Harvey Spendlow, Jack Mitchell and Ethan Hughes both finished in second place.

Third place was achieved by the under 13s novice girls’ team of Abby Regan, Lara Plant, Mia Greenwood and Katie Odgen as well as the under 19s elite boys’ team of Conor Smith, Matthew Graham, Jack Colledge and Ethan Ford.

The under 15s novice boys’ B team of Jack Loynton, Finley Michaelis and Sam Poole were unlucky to miss out on a medal, finishing in fourth position.

In individual competitions, Abby Regan was seventh and Ben Dickinson fifth.
