FIFTY students from Wilmslow High School featured in the UK Cheerleading Championships.
Overall the judges handed first place to Wilmslow Stars.
A fourth-place trophy was earned by the year seven level one Wilmslow Stars team at their first ever competition.
Twenty-one year seven students featured, while 29 were in the years eight to 11 Stars team.
All the girls are reported to have performed well, with the older team displaying their best routine yet.
Poppy Preston impressed the crowd so much that the assistant coaches rewarded her with the Wilmslow Stars Cheerleading Spirit Award!
