FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue two men who were trapped in a lift in Station Road.
One fire engine from Wilmslow was sent to the residential property at 8pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: “Firefighters responded to reports of people stuck in a lift at a residential premises in Station Road, Wilmslow.
“Two men had been trapped inside for around two hours and the lift engineer was unavailable. Crews were able to release the men from the lift.”
