ARSONISTS set fire to a front door of a house in Wilmslow last night.
Firefighters from Wilmslow and Stockport were called to reports of a house fire in Hazelwood Road at 9.26pm.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: "At around 9.25pm firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a house on Hazelwood Road, Wilmslow.
"The fire involving a front door was out on arrival and all persons were accounted for.
"Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and a hose reel jet to dampen down the areas affected by the fire to make sure they were safe.
"Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour."
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and Cheshire Police are now urging anyone who may have useful information to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 210708, give the details via https://cheshire.police.uk/contact/general-enquiries or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
